In recent years, the occurrence of mass flooding has multiplied, as we witness regularly in the news media. I have focused on getting clean, drinkable water to those who are impacted by these floods.

 

Apart from the long-lasting devastation caused by floods, one of the most crucial issues is getting clean drinking water.

As a result of these mass floods, clean water resources get flooded with dirty undrinkable water.

In most cases, filtering the water is not enough, and it must be boiled.

In order to have an indefinite amount of heating power, I've turned to the best power source we have: the sun.

 

Curved mirrors  direct the sun's rays and aim them toward the water bottle in order to boil it and make it safe to drink.
